HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Lori and I went out the the first "BIG D NYE" celebration in Victory Park last night.  We initially were concerned that it might not turn out that great, being it's the first year for the event, but it turned out to be HUGE!  There were thousands gathered in the plaza (and in the streets) just south of the American Airlines Center -- with live music in the plaza and the House of Blues, Mike Modano and Marty Turco of the Dallas Stars, and fireworks -- all with the moveable high-definition video screens surrounding the plaza.
