While campaigning for a Huckabee yesterday, actor Chuck Norris straight up said that McCain would die during the first term if he were elected president.

"I didn't pick John to support because I'm just afraid that the vice president would wind up taking over his job in that four-year presidency," said Norris, who was hosting a fundraiser for Huckabee here at his Texas ranch, just outside of College Station.

"So we need to find someone that can handle it for four years or eight years ... that has the youth and vision and communication skills to make that work."

Wow.  Prior to that, Norris babbled on about his reasoning on the matter -- that there is an alleged "3:1 aging ratio" that affects presidents during their time in office.  "Just look at Bush," he said.  I guess Norris forgets that McCain spent over 5 years as a POW and is pretty much tougher than nails.

His comment was just so inappropriate.  I think it's high time the Huck camp looked for another 80s action star.
