Lately I've been thinking about what it would be like to live in NYC.  It's probably because I've just recently started following the blog of a twenty-something journalist, Julia Allison, who basically lives and breathes the vision I've always had of what it would be like to live in New York.  You know, fashionable job, modern surroundings, interesting people and of course high-profile parties.  Typical New York life, right?

With Fashion Week coming up this weekend I am just reminded of how cool it would be to have that kind of life.  Where my job would require me to attend runway shows and parties.  I realize I don't have a background in fashion or journalism, but that doesn't seem to stop me from drifting in and out of daydreams that have me leaving my SoHo apartment to attend the latest Gucci Benefit.
