I came across this amazing railway just constructed in Austria and one question came to mind.  Why can't America build more architecture like this (and more rail lines for that matter)?

The recently opened Nordpark Cable Railway serves ski stations in the mountains above Innsbruck, Austria.  How cool.

I can guarantee you Dallas' new light rail line scheduled to open next year won't look anything like this.
