So remember back in the day when that song you just had to have came on the radio?  You would rush to your stereo, make sure you had a tape in with enough space, all in time to miss the first ten seconds of a song.  But you didn't care, because you just added your favorite song to your mixtape.

Well, the mixtape is back.  I stumbled upon a new web app called Muxtape.  It allows you to easily upload music to create a personalized mixtape (or Muxtape) that can be played anywhere and shared with whomever.  There aren't a whole lot of options yet in terms of customization or social networking, but that's what I like about it.  It's a very streamlined and simple site, which in turn is both easy to use and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

In addition to streamlining my own site this month, I've replaced my 'Listening to' space with a link to my muxtape (which I'll update frequently).
