It's been a different week.

We received a call on Sunday that Lori's mother wasn't doing well.  With her condition, we have received calls before -- but this one was different. The consensus from her nurses and caregivers was that she was dying. 

For those that know us well, know that Lori's mother has fought multiple sclerosis courageously for nearly 35 years.

Lori immediately took a flight to Oklahoma and has been there all week. 

Her mother's condition has deteriorated badly to where it looks like she only has a couple of days left.  I will be headed up tomorrow morning.

On the flip side, we welcomed a new niece this week, Madelyn Claire Feierabend.  My brother, Jason, and his wife, Lindsey called with the good news early Wednesday morning.
